Installation
“easy clIp” Inlets only
stranded Wires
Twist the wire to tighten the loose strands
together, and insert into the terminal (yellow
connector). Using your wire strippers, tighten
the terminal at two places: at the front, to hold
the wire in place, and at the back to tighten
the insulator around the wire
(figure 7)
. If
the insulator does not completely cover the
stripped wire, use electrical tape to insulate
the wire adquately, and prevent all contact
between the 2 wires. Insert the terminal into
the low voltage inlet
(figure 8)
.
solid Wires
Having previously removed the terminals
(blue connectors) from the low voltage inlet
on your unit, simply insert the wire directly
into the inlet
(figure 9)
.
To disconnect
Simply press on the corresponding release
button, and pull out wire or terminal with
wire
(figure 10)
.
Note: When using stranded wires and
terminals, do not pull on wire itself, but grasp
the terminals to disconnect.

Your Mvac central vacuum unit (except
M4 model) was designed for use with or
without disposable bag. Though it is sold with
a bag installed, it can easily be removed, and
the unit modified for use without disposable
bags.
1. To access the bag, unlatch the two clips and
remove the dust receptacle
(figure 11)
.
2. Remove the used bag
(figure 12)
. If it
has been used, seal its opening with the
self-adhesive flap on the bag collar (see
instructions on the bag). Discard the used
bag. If the bag was not utilized, you may
wish to store it for later use.
3. Loosen the screw on the bag adaptor
clamp.
4. Remove the bag adaptor
(figure 13)
, and
store for later use, if needed.
5. The vacuum unit is now ready for use
without bags.
Note: this procedure is reversible at any time.
