72 Setup 7: Method of Cut
When the “Output Mode” is set to “Off” or “Auto Cut”
Sets the ink drying time.
Use or to enter the value, and tap [Enter].
Setting values
<0 sec> to 60 min
<> indicates the initial value.

Sets the media cutting operation after printing.
Setting values
Cut with fewer steps than “Single Cut - 3
steps”.
Suitable for media with narrow width.
Normal cutting method.
This is the initially set value.
Set when unable to cut with “Single Cut -
2 steps”.
Suitable for media with narrow width.
Set when unable to cut with “Single Cut -
3 steps”.
Note
• When the media detection is set to “Off”, the media cannot be cut automatically.

• Some media may not be cut (cannot be cut at all or cannot be cut finely). In such a case, set the “Output Mode menu” to “Off” and cut the
media manually.

Sets the media cutting pressure for the cutting operation.

Cut the media at low pressure.
Suitable for thin media or if the “High”
pressure setting is too strong.
