3.4 REPLACING CUTTING BLADE
This sub-section describes the replacement time and steps of razor blade.
1) Replacement
time
Replace the razor blade when the following situation occurs.
If the media cannot be clearly cut.
If there is a failure in media cutting, the operation panel displays "Media Cut Error".
If fuzz, etc appears on the cut section
2) Replacing
steps
Follow the procedure below to replace the razor blade.
Step 1 :
If the printer is switched ON, make sure that:

Printing are other operations are not in progress.
o
The operation panel display is normal.
Step 2 :
Display the CR Maintanence menu on the operation panel.
Press the [MENU] key.
o
The operation panel displays [Menu1: Setup>]
o
The operation panel shifts to the setup menu display.
Press the [>] key.
o
The operation panel displays “Set1:MediaType>”
