After the season
1. Clean the mill thoroughly using a pressure washer. However, do not point the pressure
washer directly at bearings or bearing housing.
2. Remove the elevator chain, lubricate it e.g. by dipping it into a container with oil and
place it back.
3. Treat all surfaces with an anti-corrosion substance.
4. If the painted surface has been damaged, sand any rust away and paint with anti-corrosive
paint and touch-up paint.
5. Check the condition of the rollers.
6. Store the crimper in a shelter, never leave it out in the open.
7. If any bearings are removed, they must always be cleaned and lubricated before storing
the device.
8. Maintain the acidifier system according to the instructions of the manufacturer!

Note! Protect the acidifier system from freezing.
Lubrication
700-1000HD machines the grease nipples of the cassette are located in the stand at the side of
the cassette, under the front cover and behind the cassette. In addition to these, in the Bagger
model in the stand of the PTO shaft and the front and rear of the auger need lubrication. NLGI
grade 2 lubricant is recommended.
