POSSIBLE DISRUPTIONS
1. Low power, dough on the rollers, roller discs heat up

roller clearance is too small

scraper knives are not functioning properly.

Increase the roller clearance and check the scraper knives under the rollers,
clean them and ensure that they scrape the roller surface in an even manner.
Lower the rotation rate so that the grain passes through the rollers and does not
remain on top of the rollers. This can happen with wet grain.
2. The crimped grain contains unground grain and dough:

The rollers are not aligned i.e. one end has a bigger clearance than the other end.

Adjust the rollers according to the instructions. Check roller alignment using a
feeler gauge.
3. The feeder is stuck, grain is no longer fed:

Foreign objects between the feeder and the feeder hatch.

Close the feeder. Release pressure from springs using the pressure adjustment
valve and remove the PTO shaft. Remove the hatch from its retainers and
push it into the drain above the feeder. Open the feeder hatch fully and rotate
the rollers backwards one full turn. This will release the feeder and any foreign
objects will fall onto the rollers. Remove any foreign objects, clear stones and
clean the guard magnets if necessary. Attach the PTO shaft, test the rollers and
check that the feeder is working. Then tension the spring, adjust the feeder to a
normal level and remove the hatch.
4. Noise from scraper knives:

Check that there are no foreign objects on the discs.

Check the condition of the roller discs, any small bumps can be sanded even.

Clean and check the scraper knives.
5. Clogged auger:

The scraper knives are not functioning properly

Elevator belts are loose

Clean and check scraper knives and tighten elevator belts.
