Ending crimping
1. Switch off the acid pump and close the feeder hatch.
2. Keep the mill running until all grain has been crimped and the auger / elevator no longer
produces crimped grain.
3. Disengage the PTO drive and stop the tractor. Disconnect the PTO shaft.

Check the rollers immediately for excessive heat or wear
.
a. If excessive heat or wear occurs:
i. check roller adjustments (roller alignment)
ii. clear stones and other foreign objects between the roller discs.
b. (Note! The warranty will not cover wear or damage of roller discs caused by
stones, screws or similar foreign objects.)
5. Clean the mill both inside and outside including the inside of the auger. Clear any stones
and clean the guard magnets.
6. Wash the rollers, auger and elevator with a pressure washer.
7. Check the feeder. Remove any straws or strings from the shaft. Clean the platforms and
level if necessary.
8. Lubricate the rollers, auger and the indicated lubrication points (bearing grease nipples,
elevator chain, cogwheels, etc.)
9. Maintain the mill in accordance with the maintenance chart provided in this manual.
10. Maintain the acidifier system according to the instructions by the manufacturer.

NOTE! Protect the acidifier system from freezing.
