This model number will appear on the front of the VFD. VFD settings are shown in appendix C for
the reactivation fan (2 VFD) and the condenser fan (3 VFD). Programming settings (“n” numbers)
should be changed only with factory authorization. If any values need to be reset: Programming
values (“n” numbers) should be changed only with factory authorization. If any values need to be
reset:
1. Press “MODE” key until the red “PRGM” indicator LED is lit. See Figure 3-2.
2. Press arrow keys or until n001 is displayed. Press “ENTER” key . Press arrow
keys or to set value to “1”. Press “ENTER” key .
3. Press arrow keys or until the “n” value to be changed is displayed. Press “ENTER” key
. Press arrow keys or until the required value is displayed. Press “ENTER” key
. Repeat this until all values are as shown in the appendix.
4. Press arrow keys or until n001 is displayed. Press “ENTER” key . Press “DOWN”
arrow to set value to zero “0”. Press “ENTER” key. Programming is now complete. Press
“MODE” key until “FREF” indicator is lit. Turn everything OFF. You are ready for normal
operation.
5. Press “MODE” key until the green “FREF” indicator LED is lit. The unit is ready to run.
Condenser and Reactivation Fan VFDs:
The condenser and reactivation fan speeds are each
controlled by a VFD. These VFDs modulate the motor speeds to maintain the desired discharge
pressure on the compressor. During cooling-only mode, the target discharge pressure is 220 psig
(R22). During dehumidification mode, the target discharge pressure is 260 psig (R22) to provide
115F for reactivation heat. The reactivation VFD will operate first until it can no longer maintain the
desired discharge pressure. Then the condenser fan VFD (2 VFD) will energize.
