This

 

guide

 

describes

 

the

 

modem

 

rack,

 

technical

 

specifications,

 

power

 

supply,

 

how

 

to

 

install

 

a

 

modem

 

in

 

the

 

rack,

 

connecting

 

RS232C

 

and

 

phone

 

lines

 

and

 

powering

 

up.

 

ZDX

 

rack

 

holds

 

up

 

to

 

twelve

 

modems

 

and

 

a

 

redundant

 

power

 

supply.

 

The

 

ZDX

 

rack

 

clearly

 

displays

 

what

 

is

 

happening

 

with

 

your

 

data

 

communications.

 

Each

 

modem

 

has

 

its

 

own

 

LED

 

display,

 

with

 

indicators

 

such

 

as

modems

 

into

 

the

 

rack,

 

simply

 

open

 

the

 

rack

 

door

 

and

 

slide

 

in

 

the

 

modems.

connect

 

RS232C

 

cables

 

and

 

phone

 

cords

 

to

 

the

 

modem's

 

connectors

 

on

 

the

 

back

 

of

 

the

 

rack.
