7.14.7 Engine coolant filter – Replacement

Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

• Let the engine cool down.
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles / safety mask.

Engine coolant filter – Replace-
ment

Close shutoff cocks (1).

Remove engine coolant filter (2) with filter
wrench.

Clean the sealing surface on the connect-
ing piece.

Coat gasket on new engine coolant filter
with engine oil.

Screw on engine coolant filter and tighten
hand-tight.

Open shutoff cocks (1).
