Installing the CPU and the heatsink

Step 1.

Locate the golden cut edge on the

CPU

’

s upper right-hand corner

and place it into the socket. If the
processor does not drop com-
pletely into the socket, turn the
actuator until the processor drops
in completely. You do not have to
press down the processor.

Step 2.

Lock the socket actuator with the

parallel screw driver.

Step 3.

Put the heatsink on the CPU.

Step 4.

Fasten the heatsink with the at-

tached screws in order.
