If at this stage the device is not defined in the update program, you should independently update
the device driver by selecting the necessary driver in the Driver folder (C: \ Program Files (x86) \
STMicroelectronics \ Software \ DfuSe "version of your program" \ Bin \ Driver), depending on the
version of the installed OS and its type (x32 or x64).
* Note : for the faster access to the driver folder, right-click on the DfuSe program shortcut, then
click on "Properties" and then click on the "File Location" button. You will immediately go to the
DfuSe program folder where you will find the driver you need.
6. Click on the “Choose ...” button in the Upgrade or Verify Action group and specify the way to the
new firmware file “prefix.dfu”.
7. Click the Upgrade button. At the end of the firmware, the inscription appears in the lower part
of the update window:
8. Disconnect the USB cable from the device connector. The firmware has been updated and the
device is ready for further use.
