Caution!
Clamp lock must be on the same side as the thumb
and clamp protector must cover clamp lock.

6.5 Replacing the Boots
6.5.1 Disassembly of the Boots
•
Remove cap tube on boot shaft
•
Completely open zipper of the protective suit.
•
Turn legs inside out.
•
Loosen and remove clamp (1).
•
Pull out tube (2).
•
Pull out boot (3) from suit leg.
6.5.2 Reassembly of the Boots
•
Push boot into suit leg that was turned inside out.
•
Align suit leg and boot.
•
Place tube into boot shaft.
•
Place clamp into position and tighten -
torque: 500
±
30 Ncm.

Caution!
•
Clamp lock must be in the back and clamp protec-
tor must cover clamp lock.
Afterwards check protective suit for tightness.
6.6 Maintenance of Distance Spacer
The distance spacer requires no maintenance. In
case the distance spacer no longer functions, the
tube is replaced. Pull tube out of end pouch and
loops and replace with new one.
7 Transport and Storage
The protective suit is supplied folded and pressure-
free. Storage must be under clean and dry condi-
tions, in normal climate considering German Stan-
dard DIN 7716 and ISO 2230-1973, free of harmful
substances, protected from light and heat radiation.

8.1 Key
The key is used to disassemble and reassemble the
suit valves.
8.2 Test Equipment
For regularly checking the tightness of the complete
suit and the suit valves.
