According to internal tests for these chemicals a class 2
achieved when the attached outer gloves are applied.
Dependent on application the material’s appearance
may change, which, however does not influence per-
meation resistance to the tested material.

Use
Before donning the suit the wearer should ensure
that no parts (valves etc.) are missing.
Furthermore, to avoid fogging, the lens on the suit
inside as well as the outside of the facepiece lens
should be treated with

anti-misting
agent. Alternatively an anti-fogging film can be fitted
to the inside of the original lens. Then only the out-
side of the facepiece lens needs to be treated with
anti-misting agent.
4.1
Clothing
The following clothing is recommended to be worn
underneath the protective suit:
•
cotton underwear and socks
•
overall (or similar) with legs and sleeves that can
be closed tightly
•
protective cap or helmet
Note:
When the protective suit is worn in cold ambi-
ent temperatures, additional thermal underwear is
recommended.
4.2
Donning the Protective Suit
When donning the protective equipment assistance
from a second person is recommended.

Don compressed air breathing apparatus and full
face mask according to respective Instruction for
Use and open cylinder valves.
Put on protective cap or helmet.
Step into the legs of suit.
Fig. 3:
Pull suit up to crotch.
Hook support straps into waist belt. (If necessary,
adjust support strap.)
