Assembly Manual Anita Big Digit Clock
As you probably already noticed, the 20 cm (8 ") display has already been assembled (and
tested). Therefore you only need to fix both brackets and need to insert the display in the clock at
the end of the case assembly.
Please fit and solder the components on the motherboard in the following order:
• Diode D8 and all resistors.
• The Mini-USB socket and the TRS jack. Solder first one pad of the metallic housing (at the
TRS jack one connection pin) on components side for fixing the part.
• All ceramic capacitors and the quartz.
• The three IC sockets, paying attention for correct polarity (notch).
• Elko C16 and C17 as well as transistor T1.
• Pin header ST1 - please pay attention to the "nose".
• The remaining remaining components (Pushbutton switches, Dual-LED and the LDR with a
spacing of approx. 4 mm distance to the printed circuit board).
• If you have ordered the ASK module, fit and solder it now.
• Finally, carefully insert all three ICs.
Pay attention for correct polarity!
Please cut all wire ends as short as possible from the solder side; we only have 1.5 mm
distance between PCB and the enclosure bottom.
