PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Putting it into operation can be seen as a continuation of chapter 5 ´Assembly and Installation´. This
chapter describes how the product can be prepared for putting it into operation.

6.1

Precautions to be taken for specific risks and hazards

All products can involve risks. These risks can be largely eliminated, but there will always be some
remaining risks. By taking precautionary measures, these remaining risks can be limited to some
extent.

6.2

Safety and/or protection features which must be removed

Features to be removed

Tools needed

Transport safety device of the insert slot.

Open-ended wrench 10

6.3

Tools and equipment needed

Tools needed

Application

Standard tool box

If necessary, a standard toolbox is enough

6.4

With the dinosaurs

The person responsible for installing and putting the product into operation is also (co-)responsible for
ensuring that the procedure is carried out correctly. This entails following the steps described below to
make the most efficient use of the product.

The testing and trial run are very close to each other as far as their definitions are concerned.
However, when testing, the product needs to be subjected to trial run. This is because testing the
product will show if it is functioning properly. What is done next after testing will be dealt with in the
next section.

1.  Open the door.
2.  Remove the transport safety device from the insert slot.
3.  Adjust the amount of space that the slot can be opened by inserting the end cap in one of the

holes provided, 3 different positions are possible.

4.  Place a roll container with the handles towards the front (door side) and with the lid of the roll

container open.

5.  Insert the fuse, this will turn the product on.
6.  Close the door and a test compacting will then be performed.
7.  After this, the product is ready for use. The display will show a green icon.

Once the tests have been carried out, you will know whether the product is working
properly. Should the tests show that this is not the case, you will need to contact the
supplier immediately. This way it is justifiable in terms of the warranty. If the product
does not work as intended and you wait too long to report it, we may or may not have
to rely on the honesty of the buyer. It is therefore very important that these problems
are reported immediately at all times.
