Remove any cardboard from the foot
end channel of the bed
Start to mount the footboard on the bed,
but do not insert the legs all of the way
Tip the board towards you, and remove
the connector tail from the ribbon cover.
Do not twist this cable.
While holding the board, attach the
connector to the pins visible in the end
channel below. Take care to get the
connectors lined up properly.

Attach the bolt (1) and locknut (2)
through the hole in the bottom of
each footboard bracket to prevent
the footboard from being removed
accidentally.
Straighten the board, and lower it to fully install it. Tuck in any excess cable length as
the board is lowered to avoid pinching of ribbon cable.
Plug in the bed and test all functions. The green power LED should light up to show
that the keypad is working properly.
