CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Proper washing and maintenance expands the useful life of the juice extractor. As the juice extractor
squeezes minerals, including calcium, we recommend that all parts of the device are always washed with anti-
calcium-sedimentation agents after work.
1.
Turn off the device prior to attempting cleaning.
2.
The main casing may be cleaned with a moist cloth (a small dose of detergent may be used
if necessary).
3.
Wash all parts that have contact with ingredients carefully in warm water after each use,
with a small dose of detergents, preferably immediately after juice extraction is finished.
4.
Do not clean the device with cleaning agents, e.g. acetone, alcohol, sharp materials etc.
5.
The abrasive sieve must be cleaned carefully after each use. It is not allowed to wash the
sieve in the dishwasher! The brush

that comes with the device is ideal for finishing the
cleaning of that part.
6.
Do not submerge the base of the device in water or other liquids.
7.
If parts of the juice extractor change their colour due to carrots, oranges etc., such parts
may be brushed with a cloth and some food oil.
8.
The juice extractor must be assembled back after cleaning.

The motor is not working
– Is the power cord in the socket?
– Did anything get stuck while adding ingredients?
Machine stops working
– Is the device assembled properly?
– Is it not overloaded?
– Was the product to be extracted divided into appropriate parts?
'Jam' appears in the insertion channel
– If you extract many soft products try to follow up hard products interchangeably
(e.g. follow an orange or apple with a carrot). Choose fresh products without signs
of rotting.
– Switch the power on switch into 'reverse' position a couple of times
– Do not overfill the insertion channel with products; insert products one at a time,
give the device time to process them
– If the cause is still unknown, wash the device and reassemble it.
Pulp stops coming out
– Follow with a harder product
