Choosing the Proper Operation Mode 

In this chapter, we describe the NPort IA5000A various Toperation modes. The options include an operation 
mode that uses a driver installed on the host computer, and operation modes that rely on TCP/IP socket 
programming concepts. After choosing the proper operation mode in this chapter, refer to Chapter 5 for 
detailed configuration parameter definitions.
