5.2.  MALFUNCTION OF THE HYDRAULIC PUMP

5.2.1.  NOSE WHEEL EMERGENCY RELEASE

The hydraulic compartment contains lever valves to open the hydraulic 
lines and a push button switch to activate the electrical pump manually. To 
release the nose wheel in case of an emergency, follow these steps.

Malfunction sequence to free the 
aircrafts nose wheel

1.  Y2  Platform down
2.  Y3  Sliding table open
3.  Y10  Door lock open
4.  Y6  Door open

Attention!

Important! 
Follow the 
specified order!

1.

  • Open 

valve Y2

 

• Push the 

button switch B 

until the 

platform is lowered

 

• Close  

valve Y2

  • Open

• Push the 

button switch B

 until the 

sliding table is completely extended

 

• Close
