4.4. OVER STEERING PROTECTION
This Mototok model is equipped with an Oversteering Protection System. It prevents
overstress of the nose wheel gear through too high torques. If a certain limit will exceed,
an
auto counter steer
operation will be initiated. This limit is set to 237 kN
The auto counter steer algorithm commences, when the torque measured by the torque
sensor reaches 70% (adjustable by authorized personnel) of the set torque limit. If the
limit exceeds while manoeuvring the aircraft, an alarm will sound (see page 28). If the
user should ignore the alarm, the machine will stop.
