Fault Mode
The
VMX Series
will automatically enter the Fault Mode when a fault occurs in the motor or starter and display
a code indicating the condition that caused a shutdown. Fault codes are three-digits in length and are displayed
in alpha characters. The first and second characters (reading left to right) are the initials for the applicable
English-language fault name. The third or right-most character can be either A, c, or d to denote when the fault
occurred. “A” denotes Acceleration. “c” denotes Constant speed. “d” denotes Decel.
A
Fault History
of the past 3 events is stored and can be accessed by using the Up or Down Arrow keys before
pressing the Reset button. The first (newest) event is indicated by the decimal point in the lower right corner. A
more detailed history with time and date stamps is also kept in Functions 85 through 93.

Advanced Installation, Operation and Programming Manual, or contact the factory for assistance.
