7.1 Changing the Battery
Change the batteries of the SparkView high voltage indicator as follows:
1. Switch the SparkView high voltage indicator off by briefly pressing the on/off button .
2. Disconnect the SparkView from the SparkScan1 high voltage clamp or the BNC cable.
3. Loosen the battery compartment cover screws on the back of the SparkView with a screw-
driver and remove the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the flat batteries.
5. Insert three new AA batteries. Ensure that the polarity is correct and do not use rechargeable
batteries.
6. Put the battery compartment cover back on and secure it by tightening the battery compart-
ment cover screws with a screwdriver.
▸ The SparkView is ready for operation.

Cleaning
Clean the surface of the SparkView high voltage indicator with a damp cloth. Do not use deter-
gents.
