This guide describes how to install and use the
VCD9500 Vehicle Cradle and the VBC9500 Vehicle
Battery Charger.
The VCD9500:
•
holds the MC9500 securely in place
•
provides power for operating the MC9500
•
re-charges the battery in the MC9500
•
provides power to the Vehicle Battery Charger.
The VBC9500:
•
holds the battery securely in place
•
charges a spare 4800 mAh battery.
The cradle and charger are powered by the vehicle’s
12VDC or 24VDC electrical system.

Requirements
Vehicle Cradle Mounting
•
four #10-32 self-locking nuts (included)
•
four #10 washers (included)
•
a drill with a #2 (0.221”) or 6 mm drill bit.
Vehicle Cradle Power Connection
•
power input cable (included), p/n 25-61987-01R
•
UL Listed in-line fuse rated 250 VDC, 5 A
(included), must be used if not connecting to
vehicle’s fuse panel.
•
in-line fuse holder (included), must be used if not
connecting to vehicle’s fuse panel.
