Using Your 9570 Portable Dock
Answering a Call
When the 9570 Portable Dock rings, you can
answer the call in speakerphone or privacy mode.
Note:
The 9500 Portable Phone’s ringer/vibrator is
disabled when the phone is docked.
Answering in Speakerphone Mode
1.
Verify:
•
The 9500 Portable Phone is properly
docked. (See “Docking the Phone” on
page 34.)
•
The 9570 Portable Dock’s power is turned
on.
•
You have inserted a SIM card in either the
docked 9500 Portable Phone or the
9570 Portable Dock’s auxiliary SIM card
slot.
2.
When the 9570 Portable Dock rings, do
one
of the following:
•
Press the
O
button on the docked phone.
or
•
Open the flip on the docked phone.
or
•
Press any key on the docked phone.
Whenever you use the 9570 Portable Dock as a
speakerphone, the green Speaker LED lights
steadily.
During a speakerphone call, both parties can talk
and listen simultaneously for more natural-sounding
conversations.
