Placing a Private Call
1.
Verify:
•
The 9500 Portable Phone is properly
docked. (See “Docking the Phone” on
page 34.)
•
The 9570 Portable Dock’s power is turned
on.
•
You have inserted a SIM card in either the
docked 9500 Portable Phone or the
9570 Portable Dock’s auxiliary SIM card
slot.
2.
Open the flip on the
9500 Portable Phone,
and press it into the
retainers to keep it
open.
3.
Pick up the corded handset.
4.
Use the keys on the docked phone to dial the
number you want to call.
5.
When you see
Call?
, press the
O
key.
6.
When the other party answers, talk and listen
through the corded handset.
