The mobile magnetic mount antenna has
a magnetic base that secures it to a vehi-
cle. The mobile permanent mount antenna
is bolted to the vehicle rooftop through a
hole in the vehicle rooftop.

Note:

Both the mobile magnetic mount and the

mobile permanent mount antennas are intended to
be mounted on a metallic plane which also works
as a ground. The metallic ground plane must, at a
minimum, measure 30-in X 30-in. The
recommended size of the metallic ground plane is
40-in. X 40-in. (about the size of the roof of an
average automobile).
