Group Calls
In a group call:

Press the
PTT
button twice on your radio or the Remote Control
Unit (RCU).

Speak into the microphone.
Simplex Private
Calls
To initiate:
a
From the home screen, enter a number.

Press
Ctype
until you see
Private
call type.

If Private Call Hook Customization is enabled, select
Menu
→
Hook Method
→
<required hook method>
→
Done
.

Press and hold the
PTT
button.
e
Wait for the Talk Permit Tone and speak into the microphone.

To listen, release the
PTT
button.
To end the call, press the
End
key.
Duplex Private
Calls
To initiate:

From the home screen, enter a number.

Ctype
until you see
Private
call type.

If Private Call Hook Customization is enabled, select
