Introduction

This chapter provides troubleshooting solutions for potential problems during MC919Z operating.

Problem

Cause

MC919Z does not turn
on.

Battery not charged.

Charge or replace the battery.

Battery not installed
properly.

Ensure battery is installed properly.

System crash.

Perform a warm boot. If the MC919Z still does not turn on,
perform a cold boot.

Rechargeable battery
did not charge.

Battery failed.

Replace battery. If the MC919Z still does not operate, try a warm
boot, then a cold boot. Refer to

MC9190-G Integration Guide

MC919Z removed
from cradle while
battery was charging.

Insert MC919Z in cradle and begin charging. The battery
requires approximately four hours to recharge fully.

Cannot see characters
on display.
