The following descriptions will better help you to understand your homesight system as you familiarize yourself with its use and control.
Archive Item Descriptions
Each item placed into the Archive (such as an image, a video clip, or an event icon) is automatically assigned a description of what caused the item to be placed
there. The description depends on the device and event type, as follows:
Device - event Description
Camera – motion event motion detected
Camera – capture image button pressed still image requested
Camera – capture video button pressed video clip requested
Contact sensor – open event contact opened
Contact sensor – close event contact closed
Water sensor – water detected event sensor got wet
Water sensor – water not detected event sensor dried up
Temperature sensor – above threshold event temperature is xxF, above specified threshold of yyF
Temperature sensor – below threshold event temperature is xxF, above specified threshold of yyF
Motion sensor – motion triggered motion detected
Any battery operated sensor – battery low battery low
Wireless Keypad – away button pressed away button pressed
Wireless Keypad – home button pressed home button pressed
Siren – mute button pressed mute button pressed
