Vehicle Holder
During data
communication, no
data transmits, or
transmitted data was
incomplete.
ES400 removed
from cradle during
communications. Replace ES400 in cradle and retransmit.
Communication
software is not
installed or
configured properly. Perform setup as described in ActiveSync on page 12-11 .
Incorrect USB
cable is used. Use the USB Rapid Charge cable provided with the ES400.

ES400 LED is not
blinking green or solid
green. Cradle is not
receiving power. Ensure the power input cable is securely connected to the cradle’s
power port.
ES400 battery is not
recharging. ES400 was
removed from the
cradle too soon. Replace the ES400 in the cradle. The 1540 mAh battery fully
charges in less than three hours and the 3080 mAh battery
charges in less than six hours.
Battery is faulty. Replace the battery.
No power to
charger. Ensure that power is applied to the charger. The ES400 LED
flashes green to indicate that the battery is charging.
ES400 is not placed
correctly in the
cradle. Remove the ES400 from the cradle, and re-insert correctly. If the
battery still does not charge, contact customer support.
The ES400 LED blinks green when the ES400 is correctly inserted
and charging.
Ambient
temperature of the
cradle is too warm. Move to an area where the ambient temperature is between 0
o
C
and 40
o
C (.32
o
F and 104
o
F)
Vehicle Holder is
not functioning
properly. Replace the Vehicle Holder.
