Miscellaneous Future Information
1.
If purchasing a new "off the shelf" pump it will need to be primed and the output will need to be
capped to set the PSI pressure to 900Psi.
A. clockwise [Lower PSI pressure]
B. counterclockwise [Higher PSI Pressure]

Capping Hydraulic output, opening gauge valve and running pump will allow the PSI gauge to
display true PSI setting of pressure valve for pump. [Recommended PSI pressure is 900.] Only
run pump is this manor for as short amount of time as to visually see the reading on the gauge.
Running the pump in this state for extended amount of time can heat fluid causing undue ware
on the pump.
3.
Mixing Like base fluids is not Ideal but if you have forgotten what ISO your viscosity is you can
add ISO 32 without worrying about bringing it over ISO 46. In general, if a fluid uses the same
base, the fluids can be mixed and the viscosity will be a calculation based on the % of each fluid.
So if an ISO32 (32) were mixed 50/50 with ISO46 (46), you would be right at 39. Of course, you
would never be at a true 50/50.
