REMOVAL, CHECK AND INSTALLATION

NOTE

The following procedure applies to both cylinder

heads.

REMOVAL

•

Remove the head, see REMOVING THE HEADS.

•

Slide out the gasket.

•

Remove the cylinder clear of the stud bolts; do not
damage the piston.

•

Cover the crankcase opening with a clean rag.

•

Release the gudgeon pin circlip.
