● Revolve the nosepiece to place the desired objective in the optical path.
● Open the correct aperture of the diaphragm to match each objective.
● Lifting condenser to determine the brightest field of view. (Fig.7)

● Adjust illumination intensity using the light intensity control on the
microscope stand.
3.3 Converting the microscope
Note: Unplug the plug-in power unit from line power before
converting the microscope.
3.3.1 Replace the 12V 20W halogen bulb or the LED illumination
Note:
Unplug the plug-in power unit from the power outlet and allow for a
sufficient cool-down time of the 12V 20W halogen bulb before you
replace
it.
● If the stand is equipped with a 12V 20W halogen lamp, lay the microscope
on its side.
