Normally new pulver ised detergent is with out phosphate. T he water so ftener function of
phospha te is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt con taine r even w hen
the hardness of water is only 6

dH. If dete rgents w itho ut phosphate we re used i n case of ha rd w ater
often white spots appear at dishes and glasse s. In this cas e please add mo re de tergent to reach
bett er result s. Detergent s without chlorine do only bleach a little. S tron g and colour ed spots wil l not
rem oved completely. In this c ase please choo se a prog ramme with high er Temp erat ure.
Concentrated Detergent
Based on their chem ical com position, dishwasher can be split in tw o basic t ypes:
co nventional, alkaline dete rgents w ith caus tic comp onents
low al kalin e co ncentrated detergen ts with n atural enzym es
Detergent Tablets
Dete rgent tablet s of diffe rent brands disso lve at di fferent speeds. For t his r eason some
detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop the ir full cleaning power dur ing short
prog rammes. Therefore please use long progr ammes when using d ete rgent tab lets, to
ensure t he complete rem oval of detergent residua ls.
D etergent t ablets are on ly fo r the mo dels w i th 3 i n 1 f unc ti o n or 3 i n 1 p rogram.
Detergent Dispenser
The dispenser m ust be re filled before the star t of each wash cycle f ollowing the inst ructi ons
provided in t he Wash Cycle Table . Your di shw asher uses less dete rgent and rinse aid then
convent ional dishwasher. Generally, only one tabl espoon of de tergent is ne eded for
a normal wash load. Also, more heavily so iled item s need more det ergent. Always a dd th e
detergent just be fore star ting the dish was her, otherwise it coul d get damp and w ill not
dissolve properly.
Amount of Detergent to Use

Always add the detergent just before star ting each wash cycle.
Only use branded detergent aid f or dishwasher.
