This wi ll p reve nt any g rains of s alt or salty wate r, which ma y have b een split,
remain ing of the b ottom of the ma chin e for any per iod of tim e, which may cause
corrosi on.

Remove the basket and then unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.

Before fir st wash, add 1lt. of water in the salt container of your machine.

Place the end of the funnel (supplied) into the hole and introduce about 1kg of salt.
It is norm al for a smal l amount of wate r to come out of the salt container.

After fil ling the container , screw the cap tightly back clockwise.

Usually, the salt warning light will be cea se to be illu minated w ithi n 2-6 day s after the salt container has been fille d with
salt.

Immediately after filling the salt into the salt container, a washing programme should be started
Otherwise filter system, pump or other important parts of the machine may be damaged by salty
water. It is out of warranty.
1. The salt contai ner must only be refil led when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on.
Depending on how fully the salt dissolves, the salt warning light may still be on even though the
salt container is filled.
If there is no salt w arning light in the con trol panel (For some Models),you can j udge when to loa d
the salt into the softener by the cycles that the dishwasher had run.
2. If there are spills of the salt , a soak or a rapid program should be run to remove the excess salt.
