12.2 Raising and lowering the foot section (only for MP092-MP093)
• Pull the crank outwards
• Turn the handle clockwise to raise the foot section (Fig.18), and anti-clockwise to lower it (Fig. 19)

• Push the crank inwards after adjusting the bed to avoid accidental knocks
N.B. As the foot of the bed nears the end of its range of motion (both when raising or lowering), the
crank will become harder to turn. Do not turn the crank further as this may damage mechanical
components!
13. MAINTENANCE
MOPEDIA by Moretti devices at the moment placing on the market are carefully checked and
carry the CE mark. For the safety of the patient and the doctor are recommended to check by
the manufacturer or by an approved laboratory, at least every two years, the suitability for use
of your product. In case of repair should be used only original parts and accessories.
• It is extremely important that the bed is checked at the first use. In particular, please
check that all screws and nuts are tight.
• For first use check very carefully all the bed, in particular, check all screws and nuts are tight.
• Bed’s mechanical parts are able to move correctly (headrest / legsrest, cranks, etc ...).
• All the mechanical parts must be checked monthly and lubricated with a dropof oil in order to
promote smoothness and resistance to wear.
14. CLEANING AND SANITISATION
14.1 Cleaning
Clean the components exclusively with the aid of a damp cloth and neutral detergents.
14.2 Sanitisation
Se il letto viene utilizzato in ospedali o case di cura dove si rende necessaria la sanificazione
usare solo prodotti sanificanti e disinfettanti di cui è conosciuto il grado di corrosività per non
danneggiare alcuna parte del letto. Attenersi alle specifiche riguardanti la concentrazione, la tem-
peratura e i tempi di reazione dei prodotti e comunque a tutte le istruzioni fornite dal produttore.
ATTENTION!
• Sanitisating agents are corrosive. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Wear protective
clothing, gloves, protective glasses and safety shoes. In case of accidental contact, rinse
the affected part thoroughly using warm water and consult a doctor immediately.
