8.4 Disassembling
• Follow the procedure described above in reverse.
9. BEFORE TO USE
• Always check the status of the mechanical parts in order to guarantee they are used in
total safety for persons and environment.
• Check the proper assembly of the device with attention to the correct insertion and locking
screws and nuts of the headrest and footrest.
• Check the correct raising/lowering of foot rest frame and head frame.
10. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity for any reason.
• When lowering the head or foot section, make sure that nobody inserts hands, legs or other
body parts under the bed base.
• Make sure that the floor surface supporting the bed is uniformly level.
• Before any operation of cleaning, maintenance, or simply move the bed, disconnect the plug
of the mains voltage.
• Do not use multiple plugs or extension cables.
• Do not connect to the bed, some electrical devices not due by the normal operation.
11. CHOICE OF MATTRESS
Use mattresses conforming to requirements of reference norms, with size is not higher or lower
than those of the bed. All mattresses Levitas range by MORETTI are suitable for IBISCO beds.
NOTE: The usage of incompatible mattresses can be dangerous. Refer to the instructions to use.
12. HOW TO USE
12.1 Raising and lowering the head section (for all models)
• Pull the crank outwards
• Turn the handle clockwise to raise the head section (Fig. 16), and anti-clockwise to lower it (Fig. 17)

• Push the crank inwards after adjusting the bed to avoid accidental knocks.
ATTENTION!
As the head of the bed nears the end of its range of motion (both when raising or lowe-
ring), the crank will become harder to turn. Do not turn the crank further as this may
damage mechanical components!
