SRM1500
A heavy duty bracket which is designed to secure directly to the corner of a building
(or a flat wall if used in conjunction with the SMW1 bracket). This unit accepts WM type
brackets, and includes a predrilled mounting plate and cable access holes.
Mounting instructions:
1.
The SRM1500 bracket consists of 3 parts and is always used with one of our WM
(wall mount) brackets (See Fig. 3). Check to see that all parts fit together properly
before installing.
2.
Secure bottom section of bracket to mounting surface using appropriate mounting
fasteners. Be sure to mount this section high enough on wall to allow ample clearance
of housing when swung back.
3.
The sectional pieces of the SRM1500 are held together with the (4) 3/8" x 1" bolts
(provided).
4.
Place SRM1500 Part B into top of Part A and secure; place SRM1500 Part C into top
of Part B and secure with top mounting plate facing onto the roof.
5.
The WM (wall mount) bracket connects to the top section of the SRM1500 bracket.
(4) 3/8" x 2 1/2" bolts have been provided for mounting the WM12 and WM29 and (4)
3/8" x 1" bolts for mounting the WM18 and WM20 brackets.
6.
Before mounting the WM bracket, place a bead of silicone around the SRM1500
mounting plate so that water will not travel down the WM bracket and into the housing.

1. If using the SMW1 wall mount adapters, see Figures 4 & 5 for orientation.
2. Mount SMW1 brackets to surface as described in instructions #2 under SRM1500.
3. Connect SRM1500 bottom (Part A) to SMW1 brackets using the (8) 3/8" x 1" bolts
and secure.
4. Follow SRM1500 instructions to complete.
