Selection and ability of personnel
Maintenance jobs on explosion proof radial piston pumps executed by the user are not allowed, since
the explosion proof approval expires through a third party intervention.

Safety instructions for certain operating stages
The unit may be used only in safe and functional state. Check radial piston pump at least once per
shift on external visible damages and defects, like for instance leakages.
Occurred changes including the operating performance have to be reported immediately to the
responsible person/position! If applicable stop and safe machinery immediately!
In case of malfunction stop and safe machinery immediately! Let malfunction get removed
promptly.
DANGER
When the radial piston pump is completely stopped during maintenance and reparation
jobs on the machinery, it has to be locked against an unexpected restart:
Close main order devices and pull off the key and/or apply a caution label to the main
switch.

Safety instructions for the operations with hydraulic systems
Only persons with certain skills and experience with hydraulic controllers and regulations are allowed
to work on hydraulic units!
All lines, tubes and screw connections have to be checked regularly for leakages and external visible
damages! Damages have to be removed immediately!
Sprouting oil can cause injuries and firing.
DANGER
Before dismounting the radial piston pump, system parts, pressure lines and reservoirs in
the hydraulic circuit that have to be opened, have to be depressurized according to the
related descriptions of the components!

In using oils, greases and other chemical substances you have to follow the safety
instructions of the particular product!

Cleaning the pump from layer
The layer on the surface of the pump may not exceed strength at a maximum of 5 mm!
DANGER
The customer is committed to ensure that this limit does not get exceeded through
cleaning the pump. The cleaning jobs have to be planned according to the formation of
dust.
