6.4.2 Preparing for installation
Check the contact surfaces are clean and
remove any soiling with a lint-free cloth as
necessary.

Installing the device
1.
During the installation match the respective
channels of the rotary union with the chan-
nels of the machine shaft.
If necessary, observe the toler-
ances specified on the relevant
drawings for the allowable axial dis-
placement of shaft and housing
components.
2.
During the installation ensure that the O-
rings do not slip or fall out of their grooves.
3.
Screw the device to the flange properly.
Adhere to the tightening torque values for
the screws being used.
