Installation
Top / Rear Intake Air Adjustment (Electronic Ignition Only)
The
L42DF*
has
an
Intake Air Vane
to modify the
Incoming air. This will
ensure the flame is as per the design criteria. See
Figures 22 & 22a
.

Installing the remote On/Off Wall Switch
The
L42DF*
gas valve may be connected to a wall switch. Do
NOT
connect any external power to the remote switch. The valve will
generate its own power on a millivolt circuit or will draw its power from
an AC Connection inside the fireplace, depending on the model of the
unit. Use only low voltage wire, and
DO NOT
connect any external
power to the remote switch.

for wiring requirements.
NOTE:
The switch location must not exceed 30' from the fireplace.
