3.7 Advanced
Enter the following screen from Main Menu
→
Advanced:
The advanced functions include: Alarm, System Information, Motion Detection (MD),
Mobile Phone Monitoring, System Maintenance, PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) Setup, and
Network Setup.
3.7.1 Alarm
Move the cursor to the "ALARM" option (the icon is surrounded by a yellow frame to
indicate selection) and press "Enter" to enter the setup screen, as shown below:
I/O CHANNEL and I/O ALARM : Each channel corresponds to an I/O state alarm.
When the alarm input of a channel is triggered, the alarm recording of the
corresponding channel will be started.
NO: Normally on.
NC: Normally close.
OFF: shutdown alarm of this channel.
Note : When an alarm is produced, a red letter "I" will be displayed above the
corresponding channel.
HDD LOSS : When set to "On", if the system cannot identify the hard disk, an alarm will
be generated, and a red letter "H" will be displayed at the bottom left corner of Channel
1 in the lower part of the Video Preview screen.
HDD SPACE : When set to "On", if the remaining space of the hard disk is less than
500MB, the lower part of the Video Preview screen will display: "The space of the hard
disk is not enough. Please change the disk after shutdown."
VIDEO LOSS : When set to "On", if the video of a certain channel is lost, this channel
will display in the lower part of the Video Preview screen: "Video Loss".
ALARM MANAGE OUTPUT
:
The length of time that the DVR will output the alarm
signal once an alarm has been triggered. Options are 0, 10, 20, 40, and 60 seconds.
