DMX LED Spotlight
These instructions are intended for installers of the
unit and for users with basic knowledge of DMX
control . Please read the instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later reference .
1 Applications
This spotlight is suited for illumination on stage
and in shows, e . g . in clubs or function rooms .
The light source is a COB* LED projecting white
light, half warm white and half cool white . The
brightness ratio between warm white and cool
white is adjustable . This will allow the user to
set the colour temperature of the light beam
as desired . The spotlight is equipped with barn
doors which can be used to adjust the beam as
required .
The spotlight is designed for control via a
DMX light controller using either three DMX
channels or five DMX channels, but it can also
be operated without a DMX controller .
* COB (Chip on Board):
Many individual LED chips are densely packed on a PCB
to provide uniform light distribution .
2 Safety Notes
The product corresponds to all relevant directives
of the EU and is therefore marked with .
WARNING
The product uses dangerous mains
voltage . Leave servicing to skilled
personnel and do not insert any-
thing into the air vents . Inexpert
handling may result in electric
shock .
•
The product is suitable for indoor use only .
Protect it against dripping water, splash water
and high air humidity . The admissible ambient
temperature range is 0 – 40 °C .
•
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e . g .
drinking glasses, on the product .
•
Do not use the product and immediately dis-
connect the mains plug from the socket
1 . if the unit or the mains cable is visibly dam-
aged,
2 . if a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3 . if malfunctions occur .
Any repairs must be carried out by specialists .
•
A damaged mains cable must be replaced by
skilled personnel only .
•
Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the socket, always seize the
plug .
•
For cleaning the housing, only use a dry, soft
cloth; never use water or chemicals . For clean-
ing the clear plastic in front of the LED, a mild
detergent may be used . Always disconnect the
mains plug before cleaning .
•
No guarantee claims for the product and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the product
is not correctly used, if it is not safely installed
or not expertly repaired .

Important for UK Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
ac cord ance with the following code:
green / yellow = earth,
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead
of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1 . The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the
plug which is marked with the letter E or by
the earth symbol , or coloured green or
green and yellow .
2 . The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black .
3 . The wire which is coloured brown must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red .
Warning
– This appliance must be earthed .
If the product is to be put out of opera-
tion definitely, dispose of the product in
accordance with local regulations .
3 Installation
3.1 Mounting / Setting up the spotlight
•
To prevent heat accumulation inside the spot-
light, always position it so that sufficient air
circulation will be ensured during operation .
Never cover the air vents of the housing .
