RIDING MOWER LIFT
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 5
Raising the Mower
• Raise the mower by rotating the Crank Handle counterclockwise.
• See Step 10 for raising the mower with drill attachment.
Do not attempt to lift more than 350 lbs.
front end weight.
The mower lift must be used on
a solid level surface.
The engine must be turned off and
key removed.
The mower must be in neutral or
hydraulic drive disengaged.
The parking brake must be off during this step.
The Safety Straps must be firmly tightened
holding wheels to wheel pads.
NOTE: The mower lift is equipped with a
Steel Pin to protect against overload.
If the mower lift is overloaded with too
much weight, the Steel Pin will break and
release the Crank Handle from the screw
and allow the Crank handle to rotate freely.
If this happens, a new Steel Pin will
need to be installed.
Replacement of Steel Pin
• Remove the rubber O-Ring retainer.
• Slide out the broken Steel Pin and replace
with new Steel Pin provided with the
Mower lift. You may need to use a small
punch or nail to push out the broken
Steel Pin.
DO NOT USE A DRILL TO
REMOVE STEEL PIN.
• Replace the rubber O-Ring retainer
making sure it is seated in the groove.
