INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.

Apply a 1/4” bead of plumber’s putty (not supplied) under bottom of 
escutcheons

. Center escutcheons over valve bodies. Rotate stem

extensions 

(A)

to off position: clockwise for hot (red) counterclockwise for

cold (blue). Position handles on valves pointing 90° away from spout.
Rotate the handle skirt

clockwise with one hand while holding the handle

(1)

and applying a slight downward pressure with the other hand. Hand

tighten until the handle skirt is aligned with and seated firmly against the
escutcheon, taking care not to strip the threads. 

2.

Using the grease packet

, apply grease to the outer o-ring seals of the

spout tube

Place spout base

over spout tube

. Tighten spout

base

securely by sliding 7/32”hex wrench

through lift rod hole in

the spout base and into the spout bolt

and turning clockwise.

3.

Apply a 1/4” bead of plumber’s putty (not supplied) under bottom of 
escutcheons

. Place spout escutcheon

and spout skirt

over top of

the spout base with the lift rod hole to the back.  Insure that the gasket

is on the bottom threaded end of the spout assembly

.  Apply grease

(supplied) to the outer o-ring seal and place the spout down onto the spout
skirt

Place Seat Cover

and push carefully down. Be careful not to bend Seat Cover.

Screw pop-up head piece

firmly onto base part

. Be careful not to cross thread the part. Ensure that o-ring

Snap lift rod guide

to spout tube

with lower end resting against tee of the hose assembly

as shown above. Make sure the hole is aligned with

lift rod hole in spout skirt

Connect the pivot rod

using spring clip

Place the drain plug into the full open position, loosen lift rod strap screw

and adjust the lift rod height so that the knob clears the faucet. Tighten the

lift rod strap screw

. Installation is now complete. If lift rod

will not slide through the deck, check orientation of mounting bracket to ensure that the lift

rod hole is not blocked.

To disassemble waste assembly, reverse steps as listed above. In order to remove seat cover, use screwdriver to bend snap features back from the inside as
shown in picture above. Do not try to lift seat cover with tool from the outside.

Tighten the spout assembly

to the spout skirt

by rotating the

spout nut

until the spout is securely fastened to the skirt. To achieve

this secure fastening, use pliers and the covers provided

(as shown

above) to torque down the spout nut.  

DO NOT

over tighten spout nut as

it may cause damage to the finish.  If you have a ceramic spout skirt,
special care must be taken.

The aerator is assembled

as shown above. Using the larger end of the

aerator driver

rotate the aerator clockwise into the discharge end of the

spout until it becomes firmly seated.

IF YOU ARE NOT INSTALLING WASTE TRIM, faucet installation is
complete. Faucet flushing is required. See faucet flushing instructions under
maintenance section on page 3. IF YOU ARE INSTALLING WASTE TRIM,
see below for installation instructions.
