• Do not expose your model, the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control or the remote control to
direct sunlight, excessive heat or high humidity over a longer period of time.
• For any questions not treated in these operating instructions, contact our technical service or
other specialists.
d) General information on batteries and rechargeable batteries
• Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire.
There is danger of explosion!
• Leaking or damaged batteries can burn your skin if touched. Therefore, you should use suitable
protective gloves.
• Only charge intact and undamaged batteries. If the external insulation of the rechargeable battery
is damaged or if the rechargeable battery is deformed or bloated, it must not be charged. In this
case, there is immediate danger of fire and explosion!
• Never damage the outer cover of a LiPo battery, do not cut the foil cover, and do not prick the
battery with sharp objects. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
• To charge the LiPo battery, remove it from the model and place it on a fire-proof surface. Keep
a distance to flammable objects. Only use suitable chargers and observe the charging current
specified by the manufacturer.
• Never charge batteries unattended.

The glow plug clamp (1) is intended for the combustion
engine of a flight model with an external glow plug
connection (see image 2).
If you are using the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat
Control in a model helicopter with the cylinder head
and glow plug located in a cooling air duct that is
difficult to access, solder on an alligator clip (14)
instead of the glow plug clamp (1).
To increase the pressure of the clip and to ensure
insulation, put a short piece of fuel tube (15) over the
end of the alligator clip (see image 3).
Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control
Item no. 20 72 53
Intended use
The Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control is operated with a 2-cell LiPo or Li-ion rechargeable
battery. It serves as power supply for the receiver and the connected servos. In addition, the glow
plug is preheated for about 10 seconds at the push of a button so that no external glow connection
or battery is required to start the combustion engine.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
This product may only be used as described above, otherwise it may incur damage. There are
additional dangers such as short circuits, fire, electric shocks. Read the operating instructions
thoroughly and keep them for future reference.

Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions. We assume no liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases
the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear and accident and crash damages are also excluded from the
guarantee and warranty.
Dear Customer,
These safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your
own safety and the safety of others. This is why you should read this section very
carefully before using the product!
a) General
• The product is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around unattended. It can become a dangerous toy for
children.
b) Before operation
• Install the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control in your model so that oscillation, vibrations
and agitation can be ruled out as effectively as possible. When installing the components, keep
the greatest possible distance between the receiver and the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat
Control to avoid interference.
• Observe the correct polarity when connecting the plug connections: red = positive (+), black =
negative (-).
• Check the functional reliability of your model and of the remote control system. Watch out for
visible damage such as defective plug connections or damaged cables.
• Always switch on the transmitter first. Then switch on the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat
Control. Otherwise the model or the servos might show unpredictable responses.
• Always observe the battery indicator and only operate your model if the LiPo battery is still
sufficiently charged.
c) During or after operation
• Do not take any risks! Your own safety and that of your surroundings depend on your responsible
handling of the model.
• Improper operation of a combustion model can cause serious personal injury or material damage!
Therefore, during operation, make sure there is sufficient safe distance to persons, animals or
objects.
• Only operate the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control within the approved current and
voltage specifications (see "Specifications").
• When operating the model, sufficient cooling has to be provided for the Automatic LiPo Voltage
and Heat Control.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) switched on as long as the model is in operation.
Always switch off the Automatic LiPo Voltage and Heat Control first and then switch off the remote
control transmitter.
• In case of a fault or a malfunction, remove the problem before using the model again.
