Figure 23, Figure 24, and Figure 22 show the contents of the HPR1 AC/DC 50A high power relay package
(A15000SPI05). This relay is capable of switching AC loads of up to 50 Amps at 250 Volts, or DC loads of up to 50
Amps at 350 Volts. Over-current indication is provided by both a visual indicator and a loud buzzer.
The relay is provided with two heavy duty cables (A02100HPR01) that are used to connect the relay contacts to the
source being interrupted. The relay contacts are not polarity sensitive.
When in use, the 5/16” bronze chassis stud should be connected to an adequate Earth ground point for safety reasons.
Installation of the relay must comply with all applicable safety standards for the particular installation.
The HPR1 also has the ability to provide power to the SPI1, if the optional power banana jack is connected. This
eliminates the need for the attachment of a charging adapter during extended survey operations. The blue banana jack
