SG 1024
Connector for fieldbus
(vers. 1 only)
The connector RJ45 (two, for easy wiring of following
equipment) is enabled only on version “Fieldbus” (vers.
1). The type of fieldbus can be Powerlink or Modbus/
TCP, should be specified at time of order, and is based on
an interface device named “AnyBus CompactCom” (*)
manufactured by HMS Industrial Network (**): for general
information consult http://www.anybus.com.
For specific document on the protocol and related
technical information search for product type “Anybus
CompactCom”.
Refer to specific documentations available on HMS web
site, Anybus Compact Com section, or ask our Application
Note for the protocol implemented.
Each SG 1024 generator must be associated to an address:
the two digital rotating switches must be used, the left
switch sets the tens, the right sets the units.
Depending from interface and protocol used, the
address may be set by software too: refer to the specific
documentation. In this case the rotary switches should be
set with address “00”.
Note: if you don’t have, or don’t use, any external safety
contact, you must provide a jumper connection between
10&23, as depicted on schematic, or the unit will remain
in alarm condition (INTERLOCK Alarm)
