5 Operation
Switching the drive
The refrigeration unit switches between the vehicle engine drive and the
commercial power drive by detecting automatically, at the start of operation,
whether it is connected to the commercial power supply or not.
Operating with the vehicle engine (vehicle power system)

Make sure that the commercial power supply is not connected to the AC/
DC control box.
Operating with the commercial power
WARNING WARNING
Use 4-core cabtyre cables (conductor cross section with 5 mm

or more) for power cable. Do not connect it to extension code.
• Otherwise, it may cause an electric shock or a fire due to the
heat and breaking of wire.
CAUTION CAUTION
Use 3-phase AC200V 50/60Hz or AC220V 60Hz for
power supply.
• It may cause damage of the refrigeration unit or a fire if any
other power supply is used.
1 Connect the socket of the AC/DC
control box to the commercial
power supply.

Operation on hold display
When the commercial power supply is
connected while the vehicle engine drives
or when the vehicle engine start key is
turned ON while the commercial power
supply is connected, the refrigeration unit holds its operation (figure shown on
the right). Use either power supply described above for the refrigeration drive
source.
