REASSEMBLY OF BASIC ENGINE

2.9 Installing timing gear case

(1)

Install the baffle plate to the crankcase.

(2)

Install the gasket and the timing gear case to the

crankcase aligning with the dowel pin located on the

crankcase front side.

(3)

Tighten the bolt to the specified torque.

The bar could come off. Be very careful.

(1)

Apply the engine oil to the oil seal contact surface of

the crankshaft pulley.

(2)

Drive into the crankshaft pulley aligning with the

crankshaft key.

(3)

Prevent the crankshaft turning using the threaded hole

at the rear end of the crankshaft.

(4)

Install the nut with the washer, tighten the nut to the

specified torque.
